BEWARE! My dad has a mustang gt convertible but he really wanted a nice 4x4 truck. He got in touch with Alex initially about the Chevy Silverado truck. My dad let Alex know that he was really interested in a truck and wanted to drive up from Birmingham Alabamato look at the truck and possibly make a trade in. Alex said sure and he'll give him a call as the date approaches for my dad to drive up. My dad never got the call about the truck or any follow-up advice. We actually had to call and remind them the day of before we drove up. they said sure come on the truck is still here and they were looking to do a deal. we pull up we see the truck there. We walked up to it, as we were walking up to the truck, a sales representative approaches us we tell him we are interested in this truck. he tells us the truck has been sold. we tell them we just spoke to a woman a few hours ago telling us the truck was still available. we walked to the office to find the lady and she doesn't even have an excuse other than to say I'm sorry we went to call you back. They showed us another truck which was, missing windshield wipers paint coming off, and the truck shook every time you took off from a red light but still had the nerve to ask 16,900 for it. we just decided to leave because it was even worth arguing. my dad used to be a car dealer for Toyota and he said out of his many years he's worked as a car dealer he has never experienced anything like this. I wish I would have read the other reviews especially where the woman had to call the cops. PLEASE SAVE YOUR MONEY! GO TO A CAR DEALERSHIP THAT CARES ABOUT THEIR CUSTOMERS BECAUSE I WASNT THE FIRST PERSON THIS HAS HAPPENED AND I DEFINITELY WONT BE THE LAST More

Nightmare.... Don't Buy Here!!!! I purchased a used 2008 Cadillac Escalade for $27,739.31 along with a $1,933 extended warranty January 23,2014. Lara's Trucks have given me the run ar I purchased a used 2008 Cadillac Escalade for $27,739.31 along with a $1,933 extended warranty January 23,2014. Lara's Trucks have given me the run around regarding the reasoning of them not submitting my title information to the State Of Georgia. Whenever I call the dealer to inquire about my title the person that works in that department is either at lunch or simply not in the office at the moment, but this is learned always after a hard hold of 12 to 15 minutes. I live over an hour away from the dealership so calling is always my first option. After my first temporary tag extension given by the state in February I decided to drive to Lara's Trucks to ask in person, because I never seem to get anywhere via telephone due to poor customer service after repeating my issue over & over frustrated with what seems to be a convenient language barrier. I was told several times by the dealers title office manager (Vanessa) that an employee quit that normally handles submitting the titles to the State. She also furnished me a bogus 3rd temporary tag (12868161) Nothing like this has ever happened to me in life. I wish I would have heard something about this company prior to my purchase. While experiencing what I'm going thru I decided to search reviews regarding Lara's Trucks & I'm floored that they are able to operate in such a unprofessional manner. I purchased a car from them in January took car to them for repairs January 16th 2014 its now as of to date March 18, 2014 and i have not seen my car since. Im stuck with there loaner car... constantly getting calls saying i owe more money...I paid 4500 dollar downpayment . they say i owe more. Finance company calling me saying there going to repo my car.. I told them I havnt seen my car its been at there dealership since January. Car still hasnt been registered.This is a nightmare getting ready to call a attorney... beware and read all contracts because you will be scamed. My advice is please dont buy from them you will save yourself alot of heartache and time... More

Do not buy a car here. First we buy a 2007 Tahoe we purchased it knowing the check engine light was on and none of the speakers worked plus many other things. We spent days sitting there waiting for them to fix it... It never happens so they finally gave us a loner car two weeks later they called us and said we needed to come up there and get it. We drove two hours because they said it was ready and they had only fixed one thing on it!!! So we had to get another loner Car and drive home! We were furious because of the gas and the number of trips we made so the employee Meagul promised us gas. They called us later when it was ready and said they never said that! That's not even the bad part of having a broken Car...... They let their employees trash the cars while we were there one of them showed me that they took the truck we traded in mudding and all sorts of stuff. They drive them crazy! They sell xxx... I will never do business with them again... The only people that can and should do business with them are illegal immigrants! More

I went to lara trucks in before to buy a truck I have a trade in fj cruiser 2010 with one 40k miles. They told me that my truck was not worth it for a trade in that the''boss'' didn't like the color so if trade in fj cruiser 2010 with one 40k miles. Your Spanish had better be pretty good because you don't know if they are talking about you are not . Their math does not equal out ! In other words 2+2 does not equal 4 it equals 8 in their book. Tried to work out a deal they would not. It was their way or the highway . Also, be aware, when you arrive there's lots of bling, bling all around. This means balloons, man grilling right outside the door, tiki bar inside...etc in other words, ways of distracting you while the sharks swim around trying to screw you over !! Thank goodness the good Lord told us to get out of there and hit the road for home. Lesson was learned on this wasted trip ! Soooo, please make sure to read the reviews on this place in detail, you will see I'm not the only one dis-satisfied. And to add the icing on the cake for those who are determined to go anyway, my sales person was Megil. He waited on me along with 5 other customers at the same time, which was VERY rude ! More
